Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Blackheath, London

Salary: £22,893 - £23,219 (Actual) | £29,653 - £30,075 (Full-Time Equivalent) – dependent on experience

Employment Type: Permanent

Hours: 31 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week inset

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive school community in Blackheath, London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Support classroom teaching and learning activities under the guidance of teachers.

Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning and provide extra support where needed.

Assist with preparation of classroom materials and resources.

Help monitor and report on student progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.

*

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

What We Are Looking For:

A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting is desirable but not essential.
