Teaching Assistant – Camden Borough

Location: Camden, London

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-time, whole academic year

We’re working with a lively, high-achieving primary school in the borough of Camden looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join them for the full academic year from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a friendly and collaborative team in a school that truly values its support staff and celebrates pupil success.

The Role:

Supporting pupils in lessons, small groups, and 1:1 interventions

Assisting with engaging, hands-on activities across the curriculum

Helping to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

Providing additional support to children with varying needs

Working closely with class teachers to deliver excellent learning experiences

We’re Looking For:

Experience working in a primary school (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)

A caring, proactive and adaptable approach

Strong communication skills and a passion for helping children thrive

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Thrive training is a bonus — if you’re not yet trained, we’ll provide it free

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
