Teaching Assistant - KS1

Location: Hayes, London

Contract: Fixed Term (1 Academic Year)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Salary: £18,500+ (commensurate with experience)

Trial Days: Commencing 4th September 2025A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hayes, part of a wider and supportive academy trust, are currently looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 1 team for the 2025-26 academic year.

This is a fixed-term position for one academic year, ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a nurturing classroom environment.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking an individual with previous experience working within education, ideally within a primary school setting. The successful candidate will bring energy, patience, and a proactive approach to supporting both the teacher and pupils in the classroom.

Your role will include:

Supporting teaching and learning in a KS1 classroom.

Working one-to-one or with small groups of children to reinforce learning.

Assisting in planning, preparation of resources, and classroom organisation.

Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Supporting the emotional and social development of pupils.Working with us means:
