English Teacher or Tutor

Description

A Teacher or Tutor of English is required for a secondary school in the Gateshead area which we are working with as a company. You will deliver English to Key Stages 3 and 4 pupils. This role is to commence as soon as possible and be ongoing long term for the right candidate and will be 4 days a week (not on Fridays). This secondary school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal English Teacher or Tutor candidate would:

Have a passion teaching English Have excellent subject knowledge Be able to organise themselves Be able to engage with children in a proactive way We are keen to hear from both experienced English Teachers or ECTs.

In addition, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Pay scales and the level of experience that you have to date.
