Description

If you're passionate about helping people find the right path in education or work, this is your chance to make a real impact. As an IAG Advisor, you'll be at the heart of transforming lives through learning - right here in Leeds.

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000

Location: Leeds (West Yorkshire)

Why You’ll Love Working Here

You’ll be joining an organisation with a strong mission to empower adult learners, helping those furthest from the job market access training, qualifications, and real opportunities.

Enjoy working in a supportive, impact-driven culture that values your development. With regular CPD, clear progression, and a team that celebrates success, this is a place where you’ll grow - and help others grow, too.

The Role: What You'll Be Doing

As an IAG Advisor, you'll offer impartial, high-quality information, advice, and guidance to prospective and current adult learners. Your day-to-day will involve:

*

Building strong relationships with job centres, community organisations, and referral partners

*

Promoting a variety of funded programmes, including vocational, digital, security, and functional skills courses

*

Ensuring learner eligibility and maintaining compliance with funding requirements

*

Supporting individuals with clear, personalised advice to match them with the right course

*

Offering wraparound support pre- and post-enrolment to help learners stay engaged and progress

*

Collaborating with delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and sustained learner success

Who We're Looking For

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

A background in IAG, employability, or community engagement

Experience supporting adult learners, especially those unemployed or inactive

Strong communication, listening, and organisational skills

A passion for widening participation and making education accessible

An understanding of compliance and eligibility in a funded learning setting (desirable)
