Full-Time | Term Time Only | Monday to Friday

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive and inclusive school in Mansfield that provides specialist education to pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child’s educational journey and could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Your Role Will Include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND

Supporting students with learning, emotional regulation, and behaviour management

Helping to create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment

Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other support professionals

Assisting with the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised learning plans

This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has experience working with children or young people with SEND or additional needs

Demonstrates a calm, patient, and empathetic approach

Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively

Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection

(Desirable) Experience working in an SEN school, PRU, or similar setting
