The School and Role
ABC Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Supply Teacher to join a welcoming and high–achieving secondary school in Harborne from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented educator to inspire students and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons on a long–term basis. Role:
Long–term supply role starting September 2025
Teaching KS3 and KS4 Food Technology
Full–time position covering the full teaching responsibilities
Pay scale: M1 M6 (GBP30,000 GBP46,525 per annum, dependent on experience)
Planning and delivering high–quality lessons that engage and challenge students
Marking, assessment and contribution to department planning
Requirements
The successful Food Technology Teacher will have;
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Specialism in Food Technology (or a related subject)
Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
A genuine passion for inspiring young learners
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
