Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Kettering from September 2025. This full-time, term-time position is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with children and keen to develop their career in education.

Key Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant - Kettering, Northamptonshire

Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience

Providing in-class support as well as one-to-one and small group assistance

Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and behaviour management

Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For - Teaching Assistant - Kettering, Northamptonshire

Experience working with children in an educational setting (paid or voluntary)

A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills

A patient and caring nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

A willingness to learn and respond well to feedback

Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate are desirable but not essential
