Level 3 Teaching Assistant – PPA Cover (Chadderton)

Full-Time | EYFS – KS2 | Starting After October Half Term

Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a number of friendly and supportive primary schools in the Chadderton area, and we’re currently looking to recruit experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to provide PPA cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, starting after the October half term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for confident TA3s who are ready to take on more responsibility in the classroom—leading lessons from pre-prepared plans, without the pressure of full-time planning duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering engaging lessons across various year groups during teachers’ PPA time

Supporting pupils’ learning and encouraging active participation

Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment

Collaborating with class teachers to support academic and developmental goals

Who We’re Looking For:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Experience leading full-class sessions with confidence

Strong communication and effective classroom management skills

Adaptability to work across different age groups and key stages

A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

Job Overview:

Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday, term-time only)

Start Date: After October half term

Pay: Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
