Veritas Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Chorley.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving school environment where you'll play a key role in supporting students both academically and pastorally. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to help create a positive learning experience for pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students within the classroom across a range of subjects

Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions

Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and lesson delivery

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Building positive relationships with students and staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting

A positive, proactive and flexible approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A passion for supporting students to achieve their potential

The ability to work effectively as part of a team
