Pay Rate: £95 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join schools in Rotherham (S61) immediately. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working closely with children and helping them thrive in the classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will provide valuable support to teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to the needs of all students.

Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting classroom activities.

Provide one-to-one or small group support to students as needed.

Help manage behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes.

Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required.

Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff members.

Requirements for Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, positive, and proactive approach to supporting learners.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
