Salary: £8,640 - £10,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of the classroom, supporting pupils with additional and complex needs to access learning, develop key life skills and celebrate their successes. You’ll work closely with teachers and the wider team to create engaging learning experiences while supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.

This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same — and where every small step forward for a pupil is a big achievement.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups to help them engage with learningAssisting teachers in delivering creative and engaging lessons and activitiesEncouraging pupils’ emotional, social and personal developmentPromoting positive behaviour, confidence and independenceSupporting a range of classroom, practical and outdoor learning activitiesWorking collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff to provide a consistent and nurturing environmentAbout you
