Gainsborough | Part Time (Mornings only)

Pay: £48.30 per day

Contract: Part-Time, Long-Term

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–12:00pm

Looking for a rewarding part-time Teaching Assistant role in Gainsborough?

The Supply Register is working in partnership with a primary school in Gainsborough to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting in September.

This position involves supporting two pupils with additional needs, including one pupil with a hearing impairment and one pupil with a visual impairment. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusion and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and fully engage in school life.

Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team, you will play a key role in ensuring both pupils receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

Provide targeted support for two pupils with additional needs

Adapt learning activities to support access to the curriculum

Work closely with the class teacher and SEND staff

Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and engagement

Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Monitor progress and provide feedback to school staff

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with children or young people

Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable

A patient, caring, and proactive approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

The ability xjnqpsq to adapt support to meet individual pupil needs

A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
