Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support - Medical Needs) - Immediate Start - Kirkby

A secondary school in the Kirkby area is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 8 pupil with medical needs, including the management of a catheter. This is a temporary, ongoing role to start as soon as possible.

The role requires a calm, caring, and discreet individual who can build trust and offer consistent support, both in the classroom and with the pupil's personal care needs during the school day.

Role Details:

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Kirkby, Merseyside

Contract Type: Temporary, ongoing

Hours: Full-time, term-time only

Setting: Secondary School

Pupil Needs: 1:1 support for a medical care plan involving catheter use

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or care setting

Is confident supporting pupils with medical or personal care needs

Shows empathy, professionalism, and patience at all times
