We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants (TA) to support primary schools across Somerset, Devon, and the wider South West region.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with children, as well as university students or graduates looking to gain valuable experience within a school setting.

Immediate opportunities are available for both short-term and longer-term placements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in the classroom across KS1 and KS2

• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities

• Providing one-to-one or small group support where required

• Supporting children with additional needs (SEN support where applicable)

• Helping to maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements

• Experience working with children (school, tutoring, care, or similar)

• OR current university students / graduates (education, psychology or related fields preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic

Compliance Requirements

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

• Right to Work xjnqpsq in the UK

• References available
