Description

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible, varied work in vibrant primary schools across Newham? Do you enjoy adapting to new settings, meeting new teams, and making a difference in multiple classrooms?

Teach Now is actively recruiting reliable, enthusiastic Supply TAs to work on an ad hoc basis in EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for teaching assistants who are looking for part-time work, a better work-life balance, or want to explore a variety of school environments without long-term commitment.

About the Role:

As a Supply TA, you will work in diverse, inclusive, and supportive primary schools across Newham. You could be providing general classroom support, working 1:1 with pupils with additional needs, or stepping in for staff absence—every day is different!

You’ll be fully briefed before each placement and supported by our dedicated team throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom learning in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 as required

• Adapt quickly to new classroom environments and routines

• Provide SEN support where needed (training or experience desirable)

• Follow direction from class teachers and senior leaders

• Maintain a calm, engaging, and positive learning atmosphere

Requirements

• TA experience in UK primary schools is essential

• SEN experience or training is highly desirable

• Excellent communication and adaptability

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

• Right to work in the UK
