About the Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning and ensuring pupils remain engaged and motivated in the absence of their regular class teacher. Assignments may range from daily cover to long-term placements, depending on your availability and career goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the school curriculum

Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment

Adapting quickly to different classroom settings and school cultures

Encouraging pupil participation, confidence, and progress

Following school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times

Providing clear feedback to teaching staff and school leaders where required

Supporting the wider ethos and values of each school

Qualified with UK QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Confident delivering lessons across a range of subjects and year groups

Professional, reliable, and adaptable

Skilled in behaviour management and classroom engagement

Able to build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff

Committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

Essential Requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Relevant teaching references covering the last two years

Right to work in the UK
