Sports Coach

Location: Central Birmingham

Pay: £100-£190 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract: 4-5 days per week (Term Time Only)

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Sports Coach to join a vibrant school in Central Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about physical education and inspiring young people to lead active, healthy lifestyles.

The Role:

Delivering high-quality PE lessons across KS1-KS4

Leading a variety of sports sessions (e.g., football, basketball, athletics, multi-skills)

Supporting inter-school competitions and extracurricular clubs

Promoting teamwork, confidence, and positive behaviour through sport

Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional needs

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience coaching children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., Level 2 in a sport, or equivalent)

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to motivate pupils

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
