Randstad is actively seeking dedicated SPLD Tutors to join our team. This role provides individualised academic support, developing personalised learning plans, and guiding students towards success.

Role

Role & Responsibilities

As a Study Skills Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in empowering students with SPLDs. You will design and deliver individualised learning plans, guiding students toward effective study strategies.

Main tasks include

Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs.

Guide students in effective study strategies and techniques.

Assess student progress regularly and adapt learning plans accordingly.

Collaborate effectively with Randstad to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.

Utilise online teaching technologies to enhance the learning experience

Create engaging and personalised learning materials.

Requirements

Proven experience working with students with SPLD's

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in utilising online teaching technologies.

Ability to develop and implement individualised learning plans.

Experience with creating personalised learning materials.

Commitment to inclusive education and student success.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

A passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.

Qualifications/Memberships

Must possess any one of the memberships from the following:

PATOSS (The Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (PATOSS):

Full - Specialist teacher/assessor qualified.

Associate membership - Specialist teacher qualified.British Dyslexia Association (BDA):

AMBDA - Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association

AMBDA FE/HE - Associate Membership of the British Dyslexia Association Further and Higher Education

Professional Membership The Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education (ADSHE):

Professional QA Tutor membership
