Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a Inclusive SEN secondary provision in Bedford. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils with a range of needs and work closely with teaching staff to ensure all students have the opportunity to thrive in the education and training environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of a Specialist Teaching Assistant:

Assist teachers with all aspects of their work within the provision

Contribute to the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of pupils

Support individual pupils or small groups both within the unit and, if needed, across other areas of the Alternative Provision Academy

Supervise and support pupils during breakfast, break, and lunch times

Administer medication as required (training will be provided)

Specialist Teaching Assistant - Secondary Provision (Permanent)

Contract Term: Full-Time

Location: Bedford

Salary: £26,703.00 - £28,142.00 Annually

Start Date: ASAP
