SEN Teaching Assistant

Specialist School, Altrincham

90 per day Full–Time Immediate Start Available

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Altrincham, supporting pupils with a range of additional and complex needs.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and is looking for a rewarding position within a specialist setting. The school caters for pupils who may present with SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD and behavioural needs, meaning resilience, patience and the ability to build positive relationships are essential.

The Role

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basisAssisting students with social, emotional and behavioural needsEncouraging engagement within lessons and school activitiesSupporting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning programmesPromoting a safe, positive and structured learning environmentHelping pupils develop confidence, independence and life skills
