Description

END Teaching Assistant - Harrow Primary School

Full-Time | September 2025 - July 2026

£95 per day | Term Time Only (8.30am - 3.45pm)

A modern primary school in Harrow is looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs. This full-time role begins in September 2025 and will continue until the end of the academic year.

Working closely with the school's SEND team, the appointed candidate will support children across Key Stages 1 and 2, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Conditions and attention-related needs. The role combines one-to-one and small group support, delivered in a structured and well-resourced setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either experienced in SEND or keen to develop professionally in this area. A supportive senior leadership team and well-established classroom systems provide a strong foundation for both pupil and staff development. This would also be an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience if you are considering teacher training in the future.

Role Overview:

Term-time only, Monday to Friday (8.15am - 3.45pm)

Fixed-term contract from September 2025 to July 2026

Daily rate: £95

Based in a dedicated SEND provision within a mainstream environment

Involves support for pupils with ASD, ADD and related profiles

The school is seeking someone who:

Has either relevant experience or a clear motivation to work in SEND

Is confident working with primary-aged pupils in a support capacity

Works effectively within a team and communicates clearly

Approaches the role with initiative, adaptability, and consistency
