SEN Teaching Assistant

Mad 4 Recruitment are recruiting for 2x SEN Teaching Assistants to support a Year 4 pupil and a child in Early Years with ASD, at a ‘Good’ primary in Crewe. The successful SEN Teaching Assistants will support the pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as in the wider classroom setting. The children require support academically and can lack concentration, so keeping him engaged and focused is essential.

The role

* Full Time, Jan start until July 26 initially, potentially longer.

* SEN Teaching Assistant

* Providing 1:1 support for a child in Year 4/Early Years with ASD

* Support child academically and providing a positive role model

Requirements

To be considered for the position, you will:

* Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in a professional environment.

* Experience working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (preferred).

* Great communication skills.

* A ‘can-do’ attitude towards tasks and a strong work ethic.

* The ability to form great relationships with staff and pupils.
