Working hours: Full-time Monday - Friday (term time only) 8.30-3.30

Unique School Solutions are supporting an Ofsted ‘Good’ Primary School in the S63 area of Rotherham to appoint an enthusiastic and talented SEND Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis to start ASAP. The role will involve providing specialist SEND support to small groups of Key Stage 2 students, providing out of lesson learning opportunities through indoor and outdoor differentiated learning activities.

The role:

* Working under the direction of the SENCO

* Providing bespoke learning opportunities to students outside of the classroom environment

* Supporting pupils with differentiated learning opportunities

* Liaising with parents/carers

Essential requirements for the role:

* SEND Teaching Assistant experience within a school setting

* Experience supporting children with SEND SEMH needs

* The ability to adapt and differentiate work to meet student need

* The ability to deliver engaging curriculum content

* An interest in extra curricular activities such as sport, craft, art, gardening etc
