SEND Teaching Assistant (No Experience Required)

Location: Barnsley

Contract: Full-time preferred

Salary: £85 - £100 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a SEND Teaching Assistant.

No prior experience in education is required — if you have a background in care or a genuine desire to support children, we’d love to hear from you! Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Support children with a range of special educational needs in their learning and development.

Work under the direction of the class teacher to deliver tailored learning activities.

Provide emotional and social support to help pupils feel safe, valued, and confident.

Assist with personal care and everyday routines where required.

Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
