Salary: GBP100 – GBP110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school based in Liverpool city centre, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment, offering weekly CPD training and excellent opportunities for professional development and progression into Senior Leadership Team (SLT) roles.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND TA on a part–time basis, with an immediate start available. The successful SEND TA will support pupils with a variety of complex learning needs, providing personal care where required, building positive relationships and working closely with teaching staff to create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment.

The successful SEND TA will have:

A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable)Experience working with children or young people with SEND, including MLD, SLD and PMLDExperience or willingness to provide personal care to pupils with additional needsThe ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staffStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamA patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting children with complex needs In return for the above you can expect to receive:
