Do you have that calm, grounding presence that helps pupils feel safe the moment you walk in? Someone patient, steady, and brilliant at building trust? Our welcoming partner schools in Doncaster are looking for a SEND Support Worker who wants to make a real difference every single day.

The role

As a SEND Support Worker, you'll be a vital part of a pupil's daily learning and wellbeing.

You'll help with classroom activities, support communication and independence, and provide personal care where needed, always with dignity and respect.

No two days look the same, but every one is meaningful.

You'll work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support teams to create a safe, inclusive space where pupils feel understood, valued, and able to thrive.

What you'll be doing

Supporting pupils with SEND during lessons and structured activities

Providing personal care sensitively and respectfully

Encouraging confidence, communication, and independence

Working collaboratively with teachers and support teams

Helping build a calm, positive, inclusive learning environment

What we're looking for

Experience supporting children or young people with SEND

A patient, caring, reliable approach

Confidence with learning activities and personal care

A genuine commitment to inclusion and equality

Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
