The Supply Register are seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join one of our friendly and supportive primary schools based in Nottingham (NG5) to start from Janaurary on a long term basis 3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for ensuring every child reaches their full potential and who can bring significant expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate provision for children with SEND across the school.Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the support they need.Ensure safeguarding remains at the heart of all SEND practice.Oversee SEND records, paperwork, and referrals.Support staff with strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs.Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection. We are looking for someone who:

Has significant experience working with children with SEND.Possesses a strong knowledge of safeguarding practices.Ideally has experience with SEND paperwork, referrals, and liaising with outside professionals.SENCO qualification preferred, but experienced applicants without will be considered.Is organised, approachable, and committed to inclusion.
