SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Salary: GBP85.50 – GBP92.63 per day

An outstanding school based in Cardiff have an opportunity arising for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants. The role will entail working 1:1 with a child with challenging behaviour. ALN experience is required.

The ideal SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant should have the following:

Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishmentA calm, patient and caring personalGood communication skillsA good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelinesExperience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced Child DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 references.
