Salary: £120–£140 per day

Contract: Full-time, long-term (initially 1 year)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm

SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity in a supportive primary school?

We are currently working with a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Hampstead (NW3) who are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will provide 2:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with ASD and communication difficulties, who is currently accessing learning outside of the classroom.

The Role

Provide dedicated 2:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with additional needs

*

Support the pupil with ASD and communication difficulties

*

Help develop confidence, engagement and access to learning

*

Support a pupil who is working below age-related expectations

*

Work closely with the class teacher and wider SEN team

*

Contribute to creating a safe, positive and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate will have:

*

A minimum Level 3 qualification

*

Previous experience supporting pupils with ASD, communication difficulties and additional needs

*

Ideally, experience working within an SEN or specialist educational environment

*

Confidence supporting pupils working below age-related expectations

*

A patient, nurturing and consistent approach

*

Strong communication and teamwork skills

*

Full-time availability, Monday–Friday, xjnqpsq 8:30am–4:30pm

A DBS on the Update Service
