As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils in Dunstable who require extra support to participate in school life and learning activities. The children you will support have a variety of additional needs, and each pupil will require a tailored and compassionate approach.

Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour

Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists

Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

Compassionate and understanding when working with vulnerable pupils

Comfortable supporting learners who may require extra patience and reassurance

Interested in gaining experience within education and training

A good communicator who works well as part of a team

Calm, adaptable, and able to respond positively to different situations
