Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £460 – £600 per week

Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

Start Date: Immediately

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Rotherham.

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students’ learning, wellbeing, and engagement. You will work alongside teachers and other staff to provide personalised assistance and maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Support students with learning and social development according to individual plans.

• Assist with classroom tasks and help students remain focused.

• Deliver personalised support for students with special educational needs.

• Collaborate with teachers to monitor and report student progress.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
