SEN Teaching Assistant - Full-time, Long-term

Location: Kingston Pay: £95 - £105 a day

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with view to permanent)

Start Date: ASAP

Commutable from: Richmond, Wandsworth, Merton, and Sutton via public transport or car.

We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the heart of Kingston. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting students on a 1:1 basis, helping them develop fundamental skills in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

Supporting a KS1 learner on a 1:1 basis, tailoring the curriculum to meet their specific needs.

Leading small group interventions to support the learner and their peers with reading and basic numeracy.

Assisting with the preparation of bespoke learning resources and classroom displays to engage the student.

Providing dedicated 1:1 support for students with additional learning needs or EAL requirements.

Supervising the student during break and lunch periods to ensure their safety and well-being.Essential Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working within a primary school setting, specifically within KS1.

A strong understanding of SEN support strategies and a patient, child-centred approach.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with young children and staff.

A proactive and flexible approach to supporting diverse learning needs.

A valid DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.What Long Term Futures Offers:
