Teach Now is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking school in Enfield, providing targeted support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with ASD across different year groups. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support tailored to individual needs

• Assisting with personalised learning plans and behavioural strategies

• Helping students access the curriculum and develop key social and communication skills

• Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support

• Creating a calm, nurturing environment where students feel safe, understood, and encouraged

This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and genuinely passionate about inclusive education.

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)

• Previous experience supporting students with ASD (essential)

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, adaptable approach

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
