Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large and inclusive primary school in Havering. This rewarding position involves supporting a Year 4 pupil with complex Special Educational Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and communication and language difficulties.

Experience with PECS is essential, alongside a patient, nurturing approach and the ability to maintain firm and consistent boundaries.

We are looking for someone who:

Has proven SEN experience, particularly with ASD and communication and language needsCan work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionalsDemonstrates commitment, reliability, and a passion for supporting children's development and SENTo work in schools through Tradewind, you will need:

An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)Right to work in the UKRecent, relevant references covering the last two yearsA CV of employment, with explanations for any gapsEvidence of qualifications or relevant training (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 or SEN experience)Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
