We are currently seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a warm and welcoming primary school in the Wigan area. This rewarding role offers the chance to work closely with a young learner, supporting their educational, social and emotional development.

? Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with SEN, following their EHCP

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities

Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

Support the pupil with emotional regulation and social interaction

Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals as needed

Monitor progress and contribute to reports and reviews

? About You: Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs) is desirable

A calm, patient and positive approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant TA qualification or experience working in schools (desirable)

A commitment to supporting all children to reach their full potential
