Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Gorton:

Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new role? We are currently working with a large SEN provision in the Gorton area to recruit for experienced teaching assistants to join their team ASAP.

You will be working with small groups and children 1:1 whilst supporting the class teacher. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) then this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting children with challenging behaviours and SEN in small groups and on a 1:1 basisBuilding positive relationships with class teachers to monitor progress and implement strategiesPreparing resources for lessons to enhance learning experiencesEngaging and building rapport with pupils to encourage learningPosition Details:

Location: GortonPosition: Experienced SEN TAType of Work: TemporaryFull–Time/Part–Time: Full–Time onlyHours: 9:30am–2:30pmMinimum Rate of Pay: 90 per day, depending on experienceStart date: ASAPEnd date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)Team Teach training is highly desiredPrevious experience supporting complex needs in a residential or school settingTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two yearsOTHER
