Welsh-Speaking Cover Supervisor - Denbigh

Location: Denbigh, Denbighshire

Pay: £110 - £130 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: ASAP or after October half term

Full-time (Monday - Friday, term time only)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor to work in a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Denbigh.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain classroom experience, develop teaching skills, or take the next step towards a career in education.

The role:

Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects in the teacher's absence

Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment

Supporting pupils with their learning and encouraging engagement

Communicating confidently with staff and students through Welsh and English

Upholding the school's values and maintaining a professional classroom presence

Requirements:

Fluent Welsh and English communication skills

Experience working with children or young people (e.g. schools, tutoring, youth work, or coaching)

Confident classroom presence and positive attitude

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) or willingness to register
