Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Westhoughton?

Tradewind are working with a Primary School in Westhoughton who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time within their mixed KS1 SEN class. The role is a long- term temporary role starting ASAP and will run until May 2026, with the potential to be extended.

The school are looking for someone who has previous experience of working with children with Challenging behaviour or have worked extensively with learners with SEMH and MLD.

This school offers an inspirational environment where creative learning is encouraged, and an innovative attitude is a must.

We are looking for:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent

Experience working with SEMH

Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
