The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with EHCPs, helping them access the curriculum and develop life skills.

Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and specialist staff to implement personalised support plans.

Support learning both within the classroom and in the school’s specialist provision area.

Use your transferable skills, whether from childcare, youth work, or a care setting to build positive relationships with students and inspire confidence.

Experience supporting young people with additional needs is highly desirable, but training will be provided for the right candidate with relevant skills.

A caring, patient, and proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to different needs and situations.

Someone passionate about helping young people reach their full potential in both academic and personal development.
