Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - EYFS Support

Location: Kingston- upon-Thames

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Salary: £20,085 -£22,085 per annum

Horizon Teachers are seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide one-to-one and small group support for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies outlined in EHCPs

Provide dedicated support to EYFS pupils with a range of special educational needs, including communication, sensory or developmental challenges

Assist in creating a positive, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement and independence

Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to staff and parents as required

Foster positive relationships with children, families and staff to support each pupil's well-being and development.

Attend relevant training and contribute to team meetings to ensure best practice in SEN support
