Paid up to £105 per day with free on-site parking and immediate trial days available.

Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with autism, SEMH, complex communication needs, and those displaying challenging or aggressive behaviours helping them develop social skills, emotional regulation, and academic confidence through structured, consistent support.

Contribute to a calm, structured, and safe learning environment by applying de-escalation strategies, clear boundaries, and positive behaviour management techniques, in line with safeguarding protocols.

Assist with personal care, life-skills development, and integration of assistive technology to enhance engagement and progress (training provided where required).

Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents/carers to promote holistic development and consistent behaviour strategies across settings.

Who We're Looking For:

A Level 3 qualification or equivalent in education, childcare or health and social care is essential.

Experience in a special school, SEN unit, or working with pupils with SEND in any phase (Primary through to Post-16) is highly desirable.

Confident supporting children with autism, SEMH, communication challenges, or sensory needs.

Calm, consistent, and empathetic, able to support pupils through both their academic and emotional challenges.

Someone who is proactive, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
