Teach Now is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield this September.

Whether it’s working 1:1, in small group interventions, or in the classroom, your role will help students access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support for students with EHCPs across core subjects

• Implement strategies advised by SENCO, therapists, or educational psychologists

• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation

• Support students during class, break times, and transitions

• Track and report progress to teachers and SENCO

Requirements

• Prior experience working with SEN students (ideally in a secondary setting)

• Calm, patient, and resilient attitude

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual needs

BenefitsBenefits:

• Excellent daily rate (£90–£100 per day)

• Supportive, inclusive school culture with ongoing training opportunities

• Work with a passionate and collaborative SEN team

• Easy transport links and on-site parking

• Chance to make a long-term impact on young lives
