Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Harrow

Location: Harrow, London

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

We are currently working with primary schools across Harrow who are looking for experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

We have opportunities supporting children with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs and social, emotional and mental health needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers and SEN teams to support pupils both academically and socially.

You may provide one-to-one support, work with small groups or provide general classroom assistance, depending on the needs of the school and pupils.

Previous experience working with children with SEN.

Experience within a primary school or educational setting.

A patient, nurturing and supportive approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.

Understanding of different SEN needs.

A genuine passion for supporting children's development.

Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
