SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Stratford, East London

Pay: £96-£115 per day

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are working with a supportive school in Stratford looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the classroom.

You will be supporting pupils with needs including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and communication needs, working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help them access learning and develop independence.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support

Support pupils with academic, social and emotional development

Assist with behaviour regulation and emotional support

Support personal care where required

Work closely with teachers and the SEN team

Create a calm, positive and structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care background)

Be patient, reliable and nurturing

Be confident xjnqpsq supporting behaviour and emotional needs

Be comfortable with personal care if required

Work well as part of a team

Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
