Description

SEN Support – Secondary School - ASAP START - Interviewing this week/next

Full-time, Long-term

£95–£110 per day (PAYE)

5 days a week

Looking for a role where you genuinely make a difference, not just fill a seat?

We’re working with a welcoming secondary school that needs committed SEN Support staff to join them full-time. This is a long-term role, five days a week, supporting students who need consistency, patience, and someone firmly in their corner.

You’ll be supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4, either 1:1 or in small groups. Some students need help staying focused. Others need support with social, emotional, or communication needs. All of them need someone calm, reliable, and encouraging.

If you’re the steady presence in the room, the one who builds trust and spots the small wins others miss, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing:

Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEND

Running small group interventions

Supporting students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, or additional learning needs

Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff

Helping create a safe, structured learning environment

What the school is looking for:

Experience supporting young people with SEND, in schools or similar settings

A calm, confident approach to behaviour

Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence

Someone who can commit full-time, long-term

Why this role works:

This isn’t day-to-day supply. It’s consistent. You’ll build relationships. You’ll see progress. You’ll be part of the school community.

And let’s be honest, those small breakthroughs? They’re everything.
