Tradewind Recruitment have multiple SEN Supply Teacher positions available across North London schools. As an SEN Supply Teacher you will be responsible for the below:

Delivering pre–planned lessons for children with a range of special educational needsDeveloping and implementing individualised learning plans and EHCPsUsing specialist teaching strategies, visual supports and structured routines to maximise learning outcomesAdapting curriculum content and resources to meet diverse sensory, communication and learning needsSupporting children's academic progress, social communication skills, confidence, independence and self–advocacyLeading and collaborating with teaching assistants, SENCOs and external professionalsMonitoring and assessing pupil progress, keeping detailed records and reportsTo join us and be successful in this role you will ideally need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualificationGenuine passion for working with children with SEN and commitment to inclusive educationPatience, empathy and ability to build positive relationships with children across the SEN spectrumStrong behaviour management and communication skillsFlexibility and adaptability to work across different school settingsExperience or willingness to learn SEN–specific strategies and undertake training (full support provided)Relevant qualifications or experience in SEN, autism or related areas (desirable)Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (where applicable) and professional referencesComplete CV detailing employment history for the previous 10 years where availableValid right to work in the UKWhy choose Tradewind?
