Location: Bolton

Salary: Competitive 115.00 per day

Contract: Full–time, Term–Time

About the Role:

We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Learning Support Assistant to join our school team in Bolton. This full–time, term–time role involves supporting students who need extra emotional and educational guidance to succeed in their learning and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one–to–one and classroom support for students with SEMH needs

Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and strategies

Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff

Build positive relationships and offer emotional support to students

Promote students' social, emotional, and behavioural development

Requirements:

Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs is desirable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Must be a confident driver with access to a vehicle

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
