Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Hillingdon, West London

Start Date: October 2025

Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

Salary: £95 - £135 per day (PAYE, DOE)

Are you passionate about supporting children who deserve a fresh start? Tradewind Recruitment are working with a well-resourced, supportive SEND school in Hillingdon that specialises in helping primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They are seeking a caring and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from October 2025.

Your Role:

Build strong, trusting relationships with children with SEMH

Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to re-engage them in learning

Use positive behaviour strategies to promote confidence and resilience

Work alongside teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to create personalised learning plans

What we're looking for:

Experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or additional needs

Resilient, empathetic, and proactive in your approach

A passion for helping young people succeed academically and emotionally

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
