Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time – long-term and short-term roles available

PK Education is currently seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and proactive Secondary Teaching Assistants to join our team for the new academic year.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working alongside teachers and other support staff to create a positive and productive learning environment. Your role will be varied and rewarding, with the opportunity to make a real difference every day.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support to students across KS3 and KS4

Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management

Offer one-to-one or small group interventions when required

Support students with additional needs, including SEND

Promote positive behaviour and a safe, respectful learning environment

Help with administrative tasks and classroom organisation

Job Requirements:

Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based experience desirable)

A genuine passion for education and student development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude

A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable but not essential

A valid DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through PK Education
